The scenery is beyond spectacular and the experience is spiritually enriching
Dear Sonam,
I’d just like to let you know we have had a memorable and wonderfully trip in Bhutan. It is definitely one of the best, if not the best, travel experience we had so far. The scenery is beyond spectacular and the experience is spiritually enriching. I’d also like to commend the services of our guide Sonam Choki and driver Kuenzhang Tshering who both had made our trip a memorable one.
I find our guide very knowledgable, humorous and has provided service beyond expectations with a personal touch. Amongst the things notably are:
1) Always checking with us if the food is ok
2) He recommended we take horses up to Tiger’s Nest on our 2nd last day after noticing my girlfriend’s fitness level on the first day when we went to Tango Goempa. At first we were a little sceptical but ...

Almost everyday I am listening to Bhutanese songs
Dear Sonam,
Thank you for arranging the trip of my wife and I to your beautiful country Bhutan. We are also grateful to Ugyen Tenzin , our guide, and Nedip , our driver ,for taking us to various places. They were helpful, patient, pleasant and cooperative which made our journey comfortable and enjoyable. The food was reasonably good and hotels comfortable.
In some hotels there is room for improvement, especially the one at Thimpu. I do not understand why the management is not repairing the lift.I have no complaints against the staff . The fault lies with the management.
Bhutan is a unique and beautiful country and it should remain so. Too many tourists would corrupt the people and affect their way of life and culture adversely. The government is right in restricting the number of tourists. I am not sure for how long your country could insulate itself...

Dear Sonam,
Let me thank you for the organisation of my Bhutan trip. It was inspiring and impressive. Enjoyed the hikes and visits to the monasteries, the interesting explanations of Kinley, the guide, the visits to the markets, the friendly people and food of Bhutan.

It was one I will remember for a long time
Hi Sonam,
A recent trip to Bhutan also known as the ’Land of the Thunder Dragon’ was a memorable experience for me although the trip was merely just a week, it was one I will remember for a long time. My first few days were spent in the capital city of Thimpu, a bustling small town filled with handicraft shops, government buildings and delicious eateries to fill your empty stomachs. Trekking my first activity for the trip. It was a walk up the mountain to see one of the oldest monasteries in the capital. I was fascinated in the way the locals and monks meditated by walking around the vicinity. More eye catching was the way they had to turn these pray wheels which was carved with scripture passages in a clockwise manner to complete their meditations.
My accommodation in the capital city was the Peaceful Resort tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the city...

Impeccable service even at the most secluded place
Hi Sonam,
We have enjoyed 8 days of serenity and peace, a wonderful escapade from the hustle and bustle of our city, now we are finally back....very reluctantly. We love almost everything that was organised for us. Trekking was well planned, we started off with easier treks so that we were more prepared for Tiger’s Nest.
The hot stone bath at the village is a must-try, probably an experience we will never get from anywhere else. We enjoyed impeccable service even at the most secluded place. We were served with exquisite rice wine and tasty dinner after the bath and had enjoyed great company from the locals.
Picnic at the valley and watching archery within the same area was a memorable experience too. We had a chance to visit a club on our last night in Bhutan, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. A perfect combination of adventure, re...

The most wonderful time in Bhutan
Hi Sonam,
We had the most wonderful time in Bhutan - thanks very much for arranging our trip. She is feeling much better though it was most unfortunate that she fell ill during the trip and as a result, we missed out on several sights (didn't see much of Bumthang and missed out on Gangtey). I wish to specially commend our guide Kunzang Dhendup and driver Nim for making our holiday so memorable and exciting.
Kunzang:
-- Excellent command of the English language. Very clear in his explanation and historical narration of buildings and artefacts/paintings.
-- Impressive knowledge of Bhutanese culture and history. He was able to answer all our questions succinctly with conviction and confidence.
-- Always very polite and attentive to our needs. Never failing to...
