A Spiritual Journey in Bhutan

Dear Sonam,

Hello there! Hope you are doing fine. It's been coming to 2 weeks since we returned from Bhutan. A vivid memory of the scenic country and the wonderful people still lingers in our minds.

This is our first overseas trip with a private tour guide and was pleasantly surprised to learn about Bhutanese Heritage, Legends, Food, Culture, Religion, History, Art & Craft, Love & Respect for the King & Queen from our guide, Tshering Penjor, who is great! Not only in size but also in terms of personality. Not forgetting the driver, who kept us safe, is skilled behind the wheels and is alert and careful throughout the journey.

By far, accommodation was best at Rochogpel. Although this is not located in the Thimphu town area and probably we might have missed out seeing or experiencing some interesting Bhutanese night-life, nonetheless, we thought this place is peaceful and tranquil.

We have no complaints about the food in general. Phaksha Paa is good. Then again, we could have explored more variety if we have asked to try something out of the ordinary.

We are still dreaming about Bhutan and certainly will be back for more through Druk Asia. We hereby thank you for making this trip possible for us within a short time.
