A beautiful country with warm people

Thanks for your email. We had an amazing time in Bhutan! It's a beautiful country and the people are so warm, not just towards visitors from abroad but also to each other. A magical place that made me feel like i had travelled into a different time.

Thanks to Druk Asia for accommodating the many changes we made to our plans, both before and during the trip . Our guide Tashi Tshering and driver Rinche were wonderful company throughout our 7-day stay too - they were very accommodating and took us to places that weren't on our planned itinerary. Tashi is very knowledgeable about the country's history and I enjoyed hearing about his experiences growing up in Bhutan (we even got to meet some of his family). Rinche's driving skills also deserve special mention - I would not have thought it possible for a minivan to make a 3-point turn on a narrow mountain road! Our trip would not have been as enjoyable without the two of them.

Attached are some of my favourite pictures. I'm copying the other ladies in our group so they can give their feedback and share pictures too. Hope to visit Bhutan again someday =)
