Grateful to all Bhutan experience

Dear Sonam,

Kuzuzangpo La! We are back now after we had extended short stays in Bangkok from Bhutan.

Out trip was absolutely wonderful and we were so grateful to all the experiences during our stay in Bhutan.

Thank you so much for your arranging our trip. The weather was perfect for us during our stay. The guide, Tarchu, the driver, Wangchu are so experienced. Their hospitality, sensitive consideration to our day to day schedule, flexibility to adjust to our conditions were very grateful. They were such pleasant people to travel with.

Jingmi, the photographer is like our son and he made us feel like we were travelling with our son.

It was indeed eyes-opening trip for us. Our respect to the country and its people increased more and more, the more we got to explored in Bhutan. We felt the King's prayers for the happiness of the people in Bhutan by his promotion of GNH concept. We were also impressed by the education system as we noticed that the people actually spoke very good English there while maintaining their mother tongue skills.

Unspoiled nature was the gorgeous asset of Bhutan. I have taken few photos and put up them in my Facebook and got impressed my friends with the beauty of Bhutan's scenery.

We had a good conversation with the hotel staff and they were nice people. They were well trained and vey knowledgeable, and helpful. The hotel, Uma was the right choice for us because of the concept that the hotel carries. It is highly recommended to my friends because of the friendly and noble staff, good food and the room where you can enjoy the stunning gorgeous view from the hotel.

Due to my husband's health condition, our schedule was changed accordingly. We could not manage to visit the Tiger Nest this time. We make this as a good reason to go back to Bhutan in the future.

I was a bit reluctant to choose this winter season to visit Bhutan at first as originally we wanted to visit in autumn season and we could not get the accommodation at that time, however, we really enjoyed the beautiful view of the brown rice terrace and blue skies, sounds of the bird singing, smell of earth, light of the warm sunlight, cold weather...Bhutan in winter season was in fact very good time to travel.

To improve the travel arrangement, it could be an idea that you may include the photo taking session in wearing Bhutanese traditional costume. It could be very good memory for the travellers.

Once again, thank you so much for your arrangement of our trip.

Kadin Chey and Tashi Delek
