Raven's Nest is an intimate 21- room resort that is nestled in the beautiful Paro Valley of western Bhutan.

The Raven’s Nest is named after the crown of Bhutan’s “Wangchuck” dynasty. It is nested on an area of one and half acres. The Raven’s Nest was conceived during the coronation of our His Majesty the King.

The Raven’s Nest Resort, is a family run property of 21 tastefully furnished rooms, launched on 10th April, 2014. From conception to construction to its fruition, the project is the amalgamation of collaborative efforts of people from different cultures races and ethnicity.

An architect from Japan, an interior designer from Taiwan, its builders from India; The Raven’s nest is the brainchild of a Bhutanese promoter, who is now the CEO of the Resort. From those who have come in contact with the Raven’s Nest Resort, there has been encouraging feedback. It stands out as a unique, comfortable and subdued décor, yet setting new standards of comfort and personalized attention in the Bhutanese hospitality industry.

It is located at Satsam Choeten, a 15-minute drive from the Paro airport. Close to many cultural landmarks such as the Taktsang monastery and Kichu Temple, it also close to the abode of many eminent Buddhist masters such as Dzongsar Jamyang Khyentse, Shechen Ugen Chodzong and Dudjom Yangtse Rinpoche.

The compound boasts of hundreds of varieties of flowers, herbs, nourishing fruit trees and vegetables all grown organically. Each of the rooms offer a majestic view of the snow capped peaks, the beautiful Paro valley and the meandering stream.

Built of handcrafted stones, wood from the high Himalayas and local mud, the buildings remind you of the ruggedness of the environment. The curtains, furnishing, bed linens and rugs are from India.
