On this 7-day journey, you’ll experience Bhutan’s majestic landscapes and rich cultural tapestry while staying in two of the kingdom’s most enchanting glamping retreats — Tenzinling Luxury Villa Tents in Paro, nestled amidst pine forests with sweeping views of the valley, and the serene Gangtey Tent Resort in Gangtey, set on a quiet ridge overlooking the glacial Phobjikha Valley. These handpicked stays combine the rustic charm of nature with the comforts of boutique hospitality, offering you a chance to unwind in style while remaining deeply connected to Bhutan’s pristine wilderness and soulful traditions.

All our tours are fully customisable — the itineraries you see are simply a starting point. We'll work closely with you to tailor every detail.

1 Touchdown in Tranquility – Arrive in Paro

Your Bhutanese journey begins in Paro, a valley known for its timeless beauty and historic charm. Upon arrival, you’ll be greeted by your local guide. Spend the day acclimatising with a leisurely stroll through Paro Town, and admire views of Mount Jmolhari as the glacier-fed Pa Chhu river meanders through the valley.

2 Day Excursion to the Capital – Thimphu Wonders
Drive to Bhutan’s vibrant capital, Thimphu, for a day of cultural immersion. Visit the towering Buddha Dordenma, the spiritual Memorial Chorten, and the engaging Simply Bhutan Living Museum. Encounter the peculiar yet endearing Takin, Bhutan’s national animal, before marveling at the grandeur of Tashichho Dzong, the country’s central monastic and administrative stronghold. Return to Paro for a glamping night under the stars.
3 Valleys and Vistas – Paro to Gangtey via Punakha

Embark on a scenic drive across the Dochula Pass (3,100m), where 108 chortens frame panoramic views of the Himalayas. Explore the majestic Punakha Dzong, once Bhutan’s ancient capital, and walk across the breathtaking Pho Chhu Suspension Bridge. End the day in the alpine meadows of Gangtey, where your luxury glamp site awaits with fresh mountain air and stillness all around.

4 Nature and Spirituality – A Day in Phobjikha
Begin your day with a visit to the 17th-century Gangtey Goempa, perched high above the valley. Hike the peaceful Gangtey Nature Trail, meandering through pine forests and quaint villages. Learn about the sacred Black-necked Cranes at the information centre, and if your timing is right (Nov–Mar), watch them dance across the sky in graceful flocks. Enjoy a restful evening surrounded by wilderness.
5 Back to Paro – Heritage and Handicrafts

Return to Paro, making stops at iconic landmarks. Explore the artistic Paro Dzong, the historic Ta Dzong National Museum, and the revered Kyichu Lhakhang, one of the oldest temples in Bhutan. Cap off the day with some shopping or café-hopping in Paro town, picking up handcrafted keepsakes to remember your journey.

6 The Pilgrimage – Hike to Tiger’s Nest & Hot Stone Bath

Today’s highlight is the sacred hike to Taktsang Monastery (Tiger’s Nest), Bhutan’s most iconic spiritual site. Clinging to a cliff 900 meters above the valley, the trail is as rewarding as the destination. After the trek, soothe your tired muscles with a rejuvenating traditional hot stone bath, a therapeutic Bhutanese ritual set in nature.

7 Farewell, with a Heart Full of Bhutan

Depart Paro with unforgettable memories — of starlit nights, sacred sites, warm fires, and gentle smiles. We hope your journey through Bhutan has not only recharged your spirit but left you longing to return.

Druk Asia has strong networks with DrukAir and local tour agencies, making logistics a total breeze. The itinerary was well-planned yet flexible enough to accommodate different needs. We could decide when we wanted to get up, which places to visit or simply recuperate in solitude. Will go with Druk Asia again if I were to go back for spring or autumn. Won’t have it any other way!

My trip to Bhutan was pleasant and well organized by Druk Asia. I was very happy and comfortable with my tour guide, Tshering, and had absolute confidence in my driver, Chimmi. Tshering kept me entertained throughout the trip with histories and stories about Bhutan while Chimmi was an excellent driver. Bhutan is a very beautiful country with its unique Buddhist culture and a nation of very warm people. The sceneries were spectacular and its culture charming. I will definitely visit Bhutan again and recommend Druk Asia to my friends.

I knew this Druk Asia through my friend who initially asked me to go to Bhutan. I have to say this travel is excellent. We went to Bhutan through Thailand and the next day we missed the flight. Bhutan’s flight is a bit strange in a sense that we need to be at Thai’s airport 2 hours before departure. The gate closed quite early. Druk Asia helped us a lot to arrange our next day flight. During our time in Bhutan, this travel agent frequently asked our condition there whether we were alright or not. This sense of caring is simply excellent, particularly for the country like Bhutan which is in the Himalayan continent. I really grateful to go to this country with Druk Asia. Excellent!

Back from Bhutan, I wanted to let you know that this has probably been the best holiday I ever had. Bhutan is really a wonderful place, the people are so friendly and the landscape gorgeous. We also had the best weather one could ask for, and that helped. We have been very happy the whole tour. One suggestion I would give you is to propose your future clients to spend 1 night in a farmhouse. We did, and we loved it. The host was absolutely nice and the experience of sharing dinner, breakfast and the ordinary life of a Bhutanese family was absolutely fantastic.

An unique experience! We had wonderful time in Bhutan. Though it was a short trip, we enjoyed natural beauty, spectacular view and warm friendly people. We have been many countries but this trip was something different, ...memorable and nostalgic.
