Firstly, I would like to thank Mr Sangay Dorji for the perfect 07 days itinerary to discover breathtaking Bhutan. I’ve visited Bhutan on 02-08Oct, planned to witness the important Thimphu Tshechu Festival and it was a rich blend of spirituality, vibrant performance and community spirit. Secondly, I would like to convey my sincere gratitude to my personal and professional cultural guide Mr Yongko Dorji and Mr Tshering that possess excellent driving skills.
I had a wonderful 7D6N in Bhutan all thanks to the team from Druk Asia / SoulTrips. I had planned for a solo trip to Bhutan, and after some searches, I chanced upon several reviews with Druk Asia which eventually led me to reach out to them and book a tour with them. All I can say is, it was the best decision to do so! Everything was seamless, from the communication with the Travel Specialist (Ugyen Dema), to the planning of itinerary, and the booking of the whole package. She was very patient and helpful throughout my conversations with her via email, and she was very prompt in replying to my queries too. Most importantly, I did not feel that she was trying to “hard sell” me anything, just genuinely trying to answer my queries and provide the best options according to my budget.
I had an amazing trip to Bhutan with Druk Asia. Everything was well-organized and stress-free. Our guide, NT, was fantastic — friendly, knowledgeable, and always went out of his way to make the trip special. A big thanks also to Sangey, our driver, for getting us safely across the country and making every long drive enjoyable. Bhutan is a beautiful place, and Druk Asia made the experience even better. One of the highlights of our trip was the trek to Taktsang Monastery (Tiger’s Nest). We had been told that locals typically complete the hike in about three hours, and given our age and physical condition, we were worried about whether we could manage it. But Yongko was positive and encouraging, assuring us we could do it together at a slower pace. Throughout the trek, he was attentive to our well-being — teaching us breathing techniques, ensuring we had enough rest and water at each checkpoint, and even offering to carry our belongings so we could climb more comfortably. His care and dedication far exceeded our expectations of a guide. In the end, we took 8 hours to complete it, and it was 100% worth it.
Sangay took care of my booking from start to finish. He was very responsive with my queries and assigned a great local tour company (Soultrips) to organise my holiday in Bhutan. One minor improvement - Hotel Lobesa in Punakha needs to fix/upgrade their shower pressure and hot water system. I was having 4 min showers before the water went cold. Please pass this feedback on to your hotel suppliers. Rest was fantastic.
Kuzuangpola, we booked the 7 days 6 nights Essential Bhutan itinerary with Druk Asia. We had a wonderful time in Bhutan. Driver , Hapa and Guide , Ugyen were professional and very knowledgeable. We felt safe in the car riding on rough roads. Both of them were very friendly and helpful. They worked well together to inform our day's itinerary and make suggestions to rearrange our schedule so we can utilise our time efficiently.
We travel to learn and to experience different cultures Bhutan via Druk Asia/Soultrips met and passed our expectations Our guide Chenchou and Driver Tilly were great travelling companions as well as ensuring we explored all of what we wanted to see and do. They made a great team. Two local festivals were added to our itinerary and the day and stay in Gangtey were our highlights. We come away with admiration for the country and will come home and plant more trees

A Breathtaking Journey Through Bhutan with an Exceptional Team. I recently traveled alone to Bhutan from 2 to 8 March 2025, visiting Paro, Thimphu, and Punakha. The trip was organized by SoulTrips (company of DrukAsia), and I had the pleasure of being guided by Ms Chencho Lham and driven by Mr Thinley Dorji. From start to finish, the experience was seamless, enriching, and beyond my expectations.
Ms Ugyen Dema from Druk Asia organised our entire Bhutan Trip. I was picky with food and she also made sure I am well fed in Bhutan. Though it was a last minute decision to go to Bhutan, Dema made the plans perfectly organised even accommodating to our numerous hotel and flight requests. When we arrived in Bhutan… Our guide Kinley was knowledgeable about Bhutan’s rich culture, religion and history. Helping us to understand the site visits better. Our driver Tobgay was a superb driver navigating the tough terrains and keeping us safe and sound. Both of them were always on time ensuring we get to visit all the places and get sufficient rest. Bhutan is unique! My wife and I had an unforgettable time! Many thanks to Dema, Kinley and Tobgay for making Bhutan a truly wonderful experience for us!
This trip to Bhutan with Soul Trips under Druk Asia was something I’ll never forget. From February 20-26, I got to experience the beauty of this incredible country, and having the right people guiding me made all the difference. My guide, Tepe, and driver, Chubby, were fantastic. Tepe was full of knowledge and always had the best answers to my endless questions. He also adjusted the itinerary so I could see and experience more than I expected in just a few days. Chubby, on the other hand, was a master behind the wheel. Driving through Bhutan’s winding mountain roads, some right by steep cliffs should have made me nervous, but I felt completely safe with him the entire time.
My family and I spent 10 days in Bhutan recently and it was an amazing experience thanks to our experienced guide Chencho and driver Lhendup! The sights in Bhutan were breathtaking and pictures simply cannot fully capture its beauty. The hospitality and warmth of the people was also really touching. Chencho, our guide was exceptional as her love and excitement for her culture was deeply evident. She also went above and beyond to make arrangements for us to attend a local festival at a temple at Ura valley which we were extremely honoured to attend! She contacted the local governor to kindly wait for us before concluding the festival as we were driving from a distance away — thanks to Chencho we managed to witness something very special and something we wouldn’t have otherwise experienced! Overall, we felt very taken care of by her throughout our trip! Our driver Lhendup was also very experienced at driving on the mountainous roads — even at night with no streetlamps — which put us at ease and made the 10 day journey comfortable.
My wife and I spent an unforgettable week in Bhutan, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From start to finish, everything was perfectly organized. Our guide Kinley was incredibly knowledgeable about Bhutanese history, culture, and traditions, making every site visit even more meaningful. We had also a fantastic driver, safe and sound. Punctuality and reliability were top-notch—always on time, always professional, and always ensuring we had the best possible experience. We felt completely at ease, knowing we were in trustworthy hands.
We would like to thank our tour guide Sonam Lhendup and driver Pasang Tshering for making our trip so memorable. Pasang is a very careful and helpful driver. He never speeded, managed to drive very smoothly and safely. Sonam is very caring, responsible, knowledgeable and passionate. He explained the cultural and historical significance of every place we went, listening to him was highly entertaining. He always helped us took photos at every place we went.
I travelled to Bhutan with my mum for 7 days. It really was an amazing trip, we had a wonderful time exploring Bhutan. The trip was very well planned and everything went smoothly, allowing us to pack lots into the relatively short amount of time.

Thank you DrukAsia for fulfilling my bucket list in such a memorable way. The planning and coordination were great to Bhutan - from itinerary, hotel, food. It is an expensive trip but it certainly help to make it worth-while with the coordination. Bhutan - the land of thunder dragon and land of happiness: Makes me feeling mesmerised, amazed by the tranquility, serene, breathtaking, peaceful, deep culture of bhutanese and buddhism in every single places that i've visited so far! Surrounded by many untouched mountains and river, all are just simply breath taking!
The one week trip in Bhutan was most memorable. Bhutan is a beautiful country. I love Tiger’s Nest and Gangtey Valley among the many locations we visited. The beautiful memories would not have been possible without you Ugyen, our guide Namgay and driver Phurpa. Namgay who had took care of us and coordinated the whole week and patiently explained all the history and stories of each locations we visited. He also constantly made sure we were comfortable and that we are fine with the hotels or meals. Phurpa, who had driven us from point to point most carefully without incidents and even accompanied us on some treks.
