More Than a Holiday — A Journey of the Heart ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I had a truly wonderful and memorable journey to Bhutan from 26–30 August 2026. Even though it was only a 5D4N trip, it was packed with beautiful experiences and unforgettable memories, all thoughtfully organised by Mr Sangay. Bhutan is simply breathtaking.

There were so many “wow” moments, especially the spectacular mountains, valleys and landscapes along the way. Every turn seemed to offer another beautiful view, and I found myself constantly stopping to admire the scenery and take photos. The hotels selected by Mr Sangay were also very good and suited the journey well. I was comfortable throughout my stay and really appreciated the thoughtful choices.

My sincere appreciation also goes to my Bhutan guardian Yeshey and driver Tshering, who were incredibly accommodating, thoughtful and easy-going. We had many good chats along the way, enjoyed nice food, and most importantly, I felt relaxed throughout the trip.

Nothing felt rushed, and I always felt well taken care of. One of the most unforgettable moments was making it to Tiger’s Nest. It was definitely not easy, and there were moments when I honestly could not believe I could make it. I kept telling myself, “I cannot give up.” Step by step, I kept going, and finally reaching Tiger’s Nest was such an emotional and rewarding moment. I am so grateful that I made it there. Another special highlight was spotting a Grey Langur on our journey from Thimphu to Punakha.

Yeshey told me it was a sign of good luck, making the unexpected encounter even more special. A big thank you to DrukAsia and SoulTrip team, for making my Bhutan journey so smooth, relaxing and special. I came to Bhutan as a traveller, but I left with memories and friendships that I will treasure for a long time. I hope to return to Bhutan again one day and explore other beautiful places.

Until then, I will carry with me the wonderful memories, peaceful moments and positive energy that Bhutan has given me.
