We just returned from 11 days in Bhutan, 6 days trekking in the Himalayas. It is a trip of a life time. Initially it seems expensive but when u deduct the SDF and flight ticket it is really good value . During our trek we had a Guide / Cook / Tea Boy and Horse man (taking care of 8 ponies / mules to carry all the tents food and our stuff) all of them went to no end to help us. Our Guide Sonam and his team did every thing possible to take care of us it was really amazing . Bhutan is stunningly beautiful and the culture and environment is very different to any where else in the world and so definately worth a visit.
