We travelled with Druk Asia and had an extraordinary experience in Bhutan. Our coordinator, Ugyen Dema, was incredibly patient and attentive. She took the time to understand what we were curious about and curated a 10-day itinerary that we thoroughly enjoyed.
What truly made this trip unforgettable was the human touch from our guide and driver. Lhakpa Drukpa, our driver, is highly experienced and drives with great care and confidence. Toilet breaks were always well-timed, and he even brought fruits from his home for our long drives. He is also very knowledgeable about local festivals and traditional events, which enriched our journey. Chencho Lham, our guide, was exceptional—like a walking encyclopedia of Bhutan.
From birds and landscapes to stupas, temples, and culture, we learned so much from her. She noticed that we love tea and would always prepare tea for us during hikes, pairing perfectly with the fruits from Lhakpa Drukpa. These small gestures made the beautiful scenery even more memorable.
They even went out of their way to arrange a birthday celebration for me—something far beyond their duty. Their kindness and generosity truly touched us. This was a wonderful trip, and I am already planning my next visit to Bhutan! Highly recommend Druk Asia, especially with this amazing team: Ugyen Dema, Lhakpa Drukpa and Chencho Lham.
