Jakar Village Lodge

Established in 1997, this four-star lodge is run by Dasho Gasey Lhendup. It’s famed for its hospitality and prime hilltop views over the valley. The wooden interiors are rich with Bhutanese craftsmanship.

Located just below Jakar Dzong, about five minutes walk from the lodge. After a day of touring around Bumthang, head back to the lodge for a good rest. You make wish to hire a bicycle and ride around the valley. In the evening stroll along Chamkhar Town, which is just one kilometre away from the lodge. Jakar Village is categorized as a four star by the Tourism Council of Bhutan and has been slotted at rank #21 among the "Best Bed & Breakfast" establishment in Asia 2009. It ranked # 4 in Bhutan by Trivago Top Hotel, largest European travel community.
