Bhutan, the trip of a lifetime

Hello Sonam,

Thank you for organising the trip of a lifetime. Your country is absolutely beautiful and so are the people. Theresa and I had a great time. Our driver and guide were delightful. Tree or Three (we never got the pronunciation right) was our driver and a young and enthusiastic Tashi was our guide. The level of English spoken by them, and everyone we met, was amazing. Bhutan must have the best English teachers in Asia!

Photos are still being worked on but I will send you some when they are done. The only small problem was that when I printed out the itinerary, I mixed the pages up and so thought the visit to the Punhaka Dzong was a day later. I missed seeing the inside of the Dzong but Tashi and Tree drove us by it the next morning so I could see the magnificent architecture. You might want to number the pages on the itinerary so that doesn’t happen to other people.

Druk is very, very special. Every days was a ‘wow’ day. Not many places can boast that! Thanks again for organising everything.
