Nimalung Tshechu and Thangkra were great

Apologies for the late reply. Appreciate very much your inputs and suggestions when I was do my planning for this Bhutan trip. Your suggestion of shifting our travel dates to coincide with Nimalung Tshechu and the unveiling of Thangkra at Kurjey Lhakang was great. Both festivals added to our understanding and appreciation of your culture and beliefs.

Namgay and Poop, our guide and driver, both ensured we came away with a positive experience of your country. Namgay rang ahead to hotel at our next destination to ensure we have a room with a good view. At no time, we feel unsafe during the long and arduous car rides with Poop driving. Great team !

The hotels we stayed at have good size rooms. Except for the mosquitos at Yangkhill Resort, Trongsa and houseflies at Peling Hotel, Bumthang, we are generally happy with the arrangement.
