Climb to Tiger's Nest was simply exhilarating

Dear Sonam,

Thank you for arranging the trip. We have enjoyed ourselves tremendously and we did not have enough time in Paro to finish one or two sights that you had arranged, reason we were too slow taking our time on the last day at Tiger's Nest monastery. The view and the climb was simply exhilarating, very good for the soul and not good for the hearts considering we have a 70 year old gentleman. However, he made it half way but the rest of us made it all the way, do or die.

Fortunately, we had good weather all the way, we were worried sick that it would rain as it is the raining season. As soon as we have some nice photos selected from the thousands that we took, we will send them to you and you can have our permission to display them.

The guide and driver is so careful and thoughtful and they made our holidays so fun. The guide is well informed on the cultures of Bhutanese and such a good captivating story teller. He had all of us glued to floor with the amazing stories that he told about Guru Rinpoche and Divine Mad Monk. Most importantly of all, he enjoyed his work and he made us feel at home.

As for the driver, he is simply amazing, taking the twists and turns all the way to Gangtey as if it was a walk in the park. He drives with utmost confidence that puts our mind at rest. At the end of the trip, we had to say our goodbyes and we missed each other already. We named the guide and driver, butter and jam team. The driver is named Jam so we made it up, butter and jam.

We did not like the food that was provided on the first day of arrival, it was for lunch. As for the remaining days, it was ok.
