We booked a 14D13N tour with SoulTrip going to areas such as Thimpu, Punakha, Bumthung, Gangtey, and Paro.

Throughout the entire trip, we were able to take in many beautiful scenery and explore historical areas like the Punakha Dzong and Tiger's Nest Monastery. Our guide, Khinley Dedup, was extremely knowledgeable about the history of Bhutan and explained to us more about Buddhism in Bhutan as we explored the different areas during our trip.

We were met with much warmth and friendliness from our hosts from all the accommodations, having the chance to talk to them, explore their culture through the food they served us, and try many local specialities such as sikam (dried pork), chilli cheese, momos (dumplings) and their local wine.

Bhutan is a country filled with rich history, beautiful nature and warmth from the local people, it has been a memorable trip for my family and I. Special thanks to Sangay for organising the itinerary, Khinley and Yeshe for bringing us to the various places and taking care of us for the entire trip. Hope to come back to Bhutan again !
