Elegant Spaces with Timeless Views

Sixteen suites are housed across four stone-clad dwellings, each with two suites per floor. Accessed through a grand stone hallway, every suite combines traditional Bhutanese design with Aman’s signature simplicity. Inside, guests will find a bukhari (wood-burning stove), king-size bed, terrazzo-clad bath, twin vanities, and a daybed overlooking the courtyard, the Wangdichholing Palace, and nearby monasteries. Warm textures, natural light, and gentle palettes create a peaceful cocoon that invites rest and reflection.

Dining and Gathering

The Dining Room offers an intimate experience with smaller tables and a cosy ambience. Guests may choose from a Western à la carte menu or request a special Bhutanese set menu inspired by Bumthang’s culinary heritage. The adjoining library provides a curated selection of books, magazines, and cultural references, along with an internet station and wireless access—perfect for quiet reading or unwinding with a cup of tea.

Wellness and Renewal

The lodge’s spa is a sanctuary of calm, featuring three treatment rooms, a steam room, and private changing areas. Expert therapists use traditional Bhutanese techniques and natural ingredients to restore balance and energy after a day of exploration.

Explore the Spiritual Heartland

Bumthang, often called the “Valley of Temples,” is home to 29 monasteries and temples, including some of Bhutan’s oldest and most revered. Guests can explore Jakar Dzong, Kurjey Lhakhang, and Jambay Lhakhang, each rich with stories of saints and kings. Beyond its spiritual landmarks, Amankora Bumthang arranges meaningful excursions to local organic farms, traditional weavers, and small cottage industries that preserve centuries-old craftsmanship.

Where Heritage Meets Harmony

Amankora Bumthang invites guests to slow down and absorb Bhutan’s cultural soul. From the scent of pine and apple blossoms to the sound of monks’ chants drifting across the valley, every detail here reflects the Kingdom’s gentle rhythm—where heritage, spirituality, and comfort exist in perfect harmony.
