Guide - KP was fantastic. Flexible-lah.
Itinerary - Well designed and two nights in each hotel is very sensible. Keep this going.
Car - We did not like the Toyota van provided and asked straight away for a change to a 4WD which was rapidly provided. Your advice about expressing any issues etc on Day one is very good. Not many operators do it. Drivers - Excellent - and we are (very) fussy. Driven through India, Middle East etc.

As Reviewed on Trip Advisor

As usual, I did my preliminary research on the trip advisor forum reading previous trip reports and asking questions, and then emailed several tour operators. I decided to go with Druk Asia because they were by far the most responsive. I never had to wait more than 24 hours for an email reply. Since I left it a bit late to confirm our plans (Dec), many of the flights were already sold out, and Druk Asia was very aggressive in securing our flights. The person I worked with via email was great at accommodating my preferences and made many adjustments before finalizing the itinerary. I definitely would recommend Druk Asia...

Because it was way too early, hotel breakfast was not available when we checked out and we probably can only have our breakfast on the plane at 9am so I thought I could buy some bread off the shelf from bakery shop but there was not available too. So my tour guide Tobgay (from Druk Asia) was very helpful, he immediately called the same restaurant we visited last few times and asked the restaurant to prepare some simple breakfast for us. I really want to thank our tour guide for this. I knew he was putting in 200% of his effort to help us...

Kenny travelled to Bhutan with Druk Asia from 8 to 18 December 2011.
Nearing mid-day, we arrived at Dochula Pass, where 108 Stupas were built by Her Majesty, the Queen Mother, in honour of His Majesty the 4th King and his people to commemorate their victory in the war fought in 2003 in Southern Bhutan. As we approached the pass, our driver put his palms together in reverence, a testament to the strong Buddhist roots of the Bhutanese.
