Prestige Singapore Finds an Enchanting Bhutan

Low Yit Leng traveled to Bhutan to Druk Asia and found an enchanting kingdom hidden in the Himalayan. Bhutan's culture is unusually well preserved with many people still going around their work on traditional clothes.

Unlike many developing countries, Bhutan is one of the last kingdoms of the world that has taken extraordinary steps to preserve its culture. Its people still don traditional clothes — the men in their knee-length long-sleeved robe or gho, and the women in their ankle-length dress or kera. Also well kept is its unique traditional architecture where the wooden windows of houses are intricately carved and have colourful motifs painted on them.
