Drukair is the only airline service Nepal Bhutan route
Drukair fly daily between Tribhuvan International, Kathmandu, Nepal, and Paro International Airport, Bhutan. The route is served by either our Airbus A319 with capacity of 100 passengers or ATR with capacity of just 40 passengers. Kathmandu is a popular transit point for tourist from Western and Southern China as well as Europe.
Suggested Transit Time
We would recommend a transit time of at least 4 hours in Kathmandu at the minimum. Kathmandu Airport does not automatically transfer luggage from other airline to Drukair flight. You may have to exit immigration, collect your luggage and enter the airport again via Arrival hall. While Drukair flight generally depart on time, you may face other delay such as long queue at the immigration counters and delay on your incoming flight into Kathmandu.
