Did the 5D4N Druk Path trek with Druk Asia plus pre-hike sightseeing for acclimatisation and the Tigers Nest day hike at the tail end of the trip. The entire experience was excellent. My guide Sonam Lhendup was extremely knowledgeable about the history, culture, iconography of Bhutan in general and the various sights (Dzongs, temples etc) in particular. This went far beyond what you could read about in guidebooks and was very educational and illuminating. On top of that he was also an excellent trekking guide - the logistics were all very well planned, and the hiking distance and the duration per day was well thought out. Sonam also had an amazing knowledge of the birdlife and flora we saw along the way, often pointing out and identifying birds from their calls alone.
My trip was 7 days (includes 2 days for arrival and departure). Though the trip was short, i felt that i have experienced quite abit as Bhutan is really different frm any other country that I have visited. The warmth and hospitality of my guide Yeshay Dema and driver Dechen also makes a difference! They really took good care of me as a solo female traveller in Bhutan, ensuring both my safety and comfort.
It was an amazing trip to Bhutan! Our tour specialist Mr. Sangay Dorji from SoulTrips was taking care the whole itinerary for us and went out of his way to ensure we had a smooth and pleasant journey. Our Bhutan tour guide Mr. Kinzang Cheku and driver Mr Sigay were very caring and attentive to our needs to make us feel safe and joy during the whole journey. Kinzang is so knowledgeable, he shared a lot of legends and interesting things about his country cultures with us. Thank you for taking good care of us (especially the hike to the Tiger Nest monastery) and giving us the incredible hospitality. Bhutan was one of the most beautiful places and beautiful people on earth!
Service was great throughout my trip. First, shout out to Sonam Younten for replying promptly to my queries. This was the easiest trip to plan. I just send email to Sonam, and voila, everything is arranged for me. Thanks Sonam for your kind assistance. Second, thanks to Ngawang, who drives smoothly, and made the long and difficult drives safe. I’m glad he’s not talkative, because I really love some nice and quiet time in the car, and just enjoying everything I see from the backseat window. Lastly, huge thanks to my guide, Chencho Lham, for the company throughout my time in Bhutan. She is very knowledgeable in the history and culture of the country and Buddhism.
Highly recommend Druk Asia / Soul Trips for Bhutan trips. Sangay booked everything for us including the air tickets to Bhutan. He was really efficient and meticulous. The Bhutanese guide ChenCho did everything to make our trip a great one, also taking the best photos/videos for us. Despite the hairpin twists and turns, at all times, we felt safe with the driver Phub. We were expecting 2-3 star hotels as stated on the itinerary. Pleasantly surprised by what we would rate as 4 stars for most nights. The trip was a nice cultural and hiking mix. The picnic in the forest was especially memorial.
When we decided to travel to Bhutan from USA via India, I wrote to a few travel agencies with enquiries. Only Drukasia/Soul Trip's Sangay Dorji replied. Sangay patiently answered all my questions and arranged the Bhutan trip for us. Getting permit from Bhutan immigration was super smooth. Our guide Ugyen Tenzing Soul and driver Kencho were wonderful. Ugyen made sure I get the "right" meals due to my dietary preferences. We had a wonderful experience of Bhutan. The trip was fantastic. Bhutan is one of the world's last unspoilt places. We had a wonderful trip in November with SoulTrips with our excellent guide Suraj and our very able driver Tinla. Both men went out of their way to make our trip memorable. Bhutan is a beautiful country that maintains its traditions and its people are very welcoming. We stayed in very comfortable hotels and guest houses in Bhutan and always enjoyed delicious food. With its traditional buildings and dress code, Bhutan is unique in this world of ever blurring boarders. I highly recommend a trip to Bhutan for something completely different and a wonderful experience. Thank you for such a well organised trip and excellent guide and driver!
I would like to thank DrukAsia/ SoulTrips for an amazing trip in Bhutan. This was by far my most emotional and spiritual trip in Bhutan and I have to extend my gratitude to our guide (Dorji) and our driver (Kinlay) who brought us around and took care of our every needs. There was literally not a single bad part of our trip and we enjoyed every second, every minute of it. This will definitely not be my last trip to Bhutan - and the next time I visit I will for sure go through DrukAsia again.
We spent a week in Bhutan. we had our tour guide Kinley and Driver Tshering brought us around. they are friendly, knowledgeable, engaged and flexible to change the itinerary based on our preference. Overall, we had a great time in Bhutan.
I have just finished my wonderful trip to Bhutan- the land of thunder dragon last week. This is one of the best trips I ever had in my life. I enjoyed every minutes I was in this country.

Our recent trip to Bhutan ended on 12th November and I cannot let the moment go by without writing to thank you and the team for your help and support whilst we were there.
I have been a solo female traveler for many years so was apprehensive about having 2 strangers with me on this entire trip. My guide Gem Dorji is a young but experienced guide. He respected my need for solitude and space and would "hang around me" just sufficiently and allowed me a lot of personal time to take lone walks. My driver Dorji Gyeltshen was ex-military, very respectful and skilled road warrior. If he walked with me, he too respected my need for personal space. He'd be first to spot me whenever I returned from my walks. I've never felt so protected in a foreign land. We started as strangers but parted as friends.
I wanted to send you a big Thank you (Kadrin chhey) for organizing this incredible trip to Bhutan - a real highlight in my travel diary. The Jomolhari Trek was spectacular and breath-taking.
