Just got back from a 14 day trip in Bhutan with my Dad and it was an incredible experience. We traveled through valleys and hills, visited beautiful monasteries, hiked up to Tiger’s Nest, and even stayed in local homes. The homestays and meals we shared with families were such a special part of the trip and gave us a real sense of Bhutanese life. The country is peaceful, the food was great, and the people were so warm and welcoming.

I had a wonderful 7D6N in Bhutan all thanks to the team from Druk Asia / SoulTrips. I had planned for a solo trip to Bhutan, and after some searches, I chanced upon several reviews with Druk Asia which eventually led me to reach out to them and book a tour with them. All I can say is, it was the best decision to do so! Everything was seamless, from the communication with the Travel Specialist (Ugyen Dema), to the planning of itinerary, and the booking of the whole package. She was very patient and helpful throughout my conversations with her via email, and she was very prompt in replying to my queries too. Most importantly, I did not feel that she was trying to “hard sell” me anything, just genuinely trying to answer my queries and provide the best options according to my budget.

Our group of three had an enjoyable trip in Bhutan booked through Soultrips. Sangay who helped us to organised the trip, was very responsive and attentive to our needs through email communications. The trip itself was truly memorable thanks to our guide and driver, Yongko and Leiki. Leiki is an excellent driver who kept us safe on the roads. Yongko is a very knowledgeable guide. He was able to explain and tell us stories of Varjayana Buddhism that was interesting and allowed us to get closer to the amazing religion. Otherwise, a statue would just be a statue that you see in the many temples in the country. Ask for this team of guide and driver (Yongko and Leiki) if you are considering going to Bhutan and wish for an enlightening journey.

Choosing Druk Asia was a decision I never once regretted. From the very first inquiry to the completion of our adventure, every step was handled with care, precision, and promptness. The team’s timely and meticulous responses made planning effortless and stress-free. I’d like to express my deepest appreciation to the wonderful team who ensured our safety throughout, and especially to our guide, Tshewang, who went far beyond our expectations. Their sincerity, sense of fun, and strong sense of responsibility made the entire journey truly memorable.

Wonderful experience from start to finish From stepping off the plane to getting back on it we received first class service. Both Chencho (guide) and Tashi (driver) could not have done anymore. Even the requested 6:00 departure to hike up to Tigers Nest Monastery was accepted without a blink…. The 4 day itinerary was intense, but there was so much to cram in…. Chencho was more than happy to adjust this if we wished…. “It was our tour not hers” 😊 We even managed to experience a few surprises from Chencho along the way….(Will not tell you about these… come and find out for yourselves)! The country is beautiful and unspoilt by mass tourism…. Hope it stays this way.

I had an amazing trip to Bhutan with Druk Asia. Everything was well-organized and stress-free. Our guide, NT, was fantastic — friendly, knowledgeable, and always went out of his way to make the trip special. Firstly, I would like to thank Mr Sangay Dorji for the perfect 07 days itinerary to discover breathtaking Bhutan. I’ve visited Bhutan on 02-08Oct, planned to witness the important Thimphu Tshechu Festival and it was a rich blend of spirituality, vibrant performance and community spirit. Secondly, I would like to convey my sincere gratitude to my personal and professional cultural guide Mr Yongko Dorji and Mr Tshering that possess excellent driving skills.

Booked a trip to Bhutan with Druk Asia Travel (Nov 2024) for myself and my teenage son. Ms Ugyen Dema was prompt and professional in handling our enquires even before we started our Bhutan Trip. Upon touching down the Land of the Thunder Dragon, we were warmly received by our guide Mr Choki Wangchuk and our driver Mr Lhakpa Drukpa. Mr Choki had been very attentive to our needs and showed much enthusiasm in explaining the Bhutanese culture to us. Mr Lhakpa is a very experienced driver who goes beyond his call of duty to make our stay such an enjoyable one. Our trip in Bhutan had been so much more memorable due to the kind hospitality of Mr Choki and Mr Lhakpa. Their service has truly exceeded our expectations.

My wife and I have returned recently from a 7-day tour of Bhutan and we had a most enjoyable & wonderful experience with all the places that we visited in Thimphu, Punakha, Gangtey, Phobjikha Valley and Paro. We have been to many countries around the world and I will rate Bhutan as one of the safest & most peaceful country to visit. Many thanks to our knowledgeable & efficient tour guide Miss Chencho Lham for bringing us around and providing information & details on the cultural, historical and religious aspects of the country. My wife and I also appreciates that she managed the pace of the tour so that it was just ideal for us as we were not very fit personally and were slightly affected by the high altitude. Miss Chencho also made great efforts to ensure that I was comfortable to do my bird photography while on the white water rafting along the Mo Chuu River as well as at the foothills of the Taksang Trail. Unfortunately at the time of our visit to Phobjikha Valley on 3 November, the black necked cranes had not come over, but we still managed to see two of them (Pema & Karma) at the Crane Center.

Thank you Kinley and Sonam for your constant care and warm hospitality. We really enjoyed ourselves tremendously. Now we know more about the cultures of Bhutan. Will spread our experience to our friends. God bless the country of Bhutan.

Amazing time in Bhutan with help from our local Bhutanese tour guide Ms Tshewang Dema and driver Mr Namgay. Both are very friendly, experienced, and professional. The trip wouldn’t have been so smooth and comfortable without them. The itinerary is thoughtfully designed, and you always have plenty of things to do each day. They provide trip customization to meet your special needs. Tshewang shared interesting and insightful Buddhist stories and philosophies along the way. She had experience hiking with kids below ten-year-old as well as people in their seventies.

I recently had the pleasure of embarking on a 7D tour with Drukasia (Soul Trip), and it was truly an unforgettable journey. From start to finish, the experience was seamlessly organized, allowing us to fully immerse ourselves in the rich beauty and vibrant culture of the region. A special shoutout to our tour guide, Dorji Tshering, who was not only knowledgeable but also incredibly friendly and engaging. His passion for the area/culture shone through every story and insight he shared, making each stop more meaningful and memorable. Our driver, Chimi, was equally commendable; he navigated the roads with impressive skill and safety, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable ride throughout our adventure.

Well organized trip (including Highland Festival and 8-day trek) and very responsive. Would highly recommend!

I just returned from a Druk Asia tour in Bhutan. I was very well taken care of by SONAM CHOKI, who was an excellent and informative guide, and NAMGAY THAYE, our very competent, patient, and friendly driver. Sonam Choki provided a wealth of valuable information about and insights into the history of Bhutan in the context of the region, the political leadership of the country, and Bhutanese cultural values and religious practices. I was fortunate to visit an important Buddhist festival on my first day. Afterwards, I was guided in tours of many memorable dzongs and temples, and I had ample opportunities to appreciate the countryside and mountains.

Kuzuzangpo la! Bhutan has been on my bucket list for a long time, and I’m thrilled to share my experience. Sonam was our first point of contact, and the entire process was seamless. Every question I had was answered promptly, providing a great sense of assurance.

My 8 day trip to Bhutan was a wonderful experience. Soultrips created a great itinerary that made a great introduction to this gorgeous country. My guide Tashi and driver Sonam were the best and definitely went the extra mile to make sure my experience was unforgettable. The highlight of the trip was certainly the last day when Tashi and I trekked to the Tiger’s Nest Monastery. Tashi was encouraging and carried everything for me. The views were beautiful the whole way up. He even suggested and carried a Thangka I had bought earlier in the trip up to the monastery and had it blessed by a priest there. I can’t thank Sonam and Tashi enough for being such wonderful hosts and ambassadors for their awe inspiring country.

For years I have dreamed of visiting Bhutan, and when I had the opportunity to do so this year, I decided to hire SoulTrips, which turned out to be a very good decision. Every step along the way during the planning process was very clear and surprisingly easy. From the moment I landed at the airport in Paro I was in good hands. Leaving us freed of worries & had peace of mind to enjoy the beautiful sceneries, car drives, photos & videos taking, sharing laughter, informative History of Bhutan throughout the journeys.

Bhutan, in my personal view, a country deep in religion and is culturally rich. It has beautiful landscapes - lush green forests, valleys, mountains and rivers - providing livelihood not just to humans but to vast animals as well. At the same time, I sense that it grapples with the challenges of connecting with the world outside its own while keeping to preserve its own unique cultural values. We spent 2 weeks in Bhutan with our wonderful guide and driver, Sonam Tshering and Tshering Wangchuk. We are very glad to have traveled with both of them. Sonam is knowledgeable, eloquent, expresses himself well and full of humour.
