I would like to sincerely commend both my guide, Yeshi, and our driver, also Yeshi, for their outstanding efforts and warm hospitality during my recent trip to Bhutan in April 2025. From the very beginning, they went above and beyond to make our journey truly unforgettable. The hotels we stayed in were above average in quality, offering comfort and a peaceful ambiance. Every request we made was promptly attended to with genuine care. Although it took us a little while to get used to the local cuisine, we eventually grew to love it—every dish was a delightful introduction to Bhutanese flavors, rich in culture and taste.

In particular, I would like to express my appreciation to the guides: Tashi Tobgay, Choki Wangchuk and driver Yeshey Tenzin Dorji. I did the "7- Day Essential Bhutan" tour and it was amazing! I invited a friend from the USA and she also had a memorable experience. I learned so much about Bhutan and enriched my knowledge of Buddhism, the local arts and culture. But more importantly, I learned more about my capacity to embrace new challenges such as hiking in high altitudes and tackling Bhutan's longest suspension bridge. Not for the faint-hearted. From our warm greeting at the airport from our guide, Kuenga, and our driver, Lhakpa, to our heart-felt goodbyes, these two gentlemen were such a blessing to us! They went the extra mile to make sure we were satisfied. Kuenga was very knowledgeable, but also very humble and kind. Lhakpa invited us to his home for a meal. The Bhutanese people really shined through these two men. We would give them 10 stars if we could!!!

One more thing checked off of my bucket list thanks to Kinley Tshering and our driver, Sigyel Dorji. A memorable trip to the Land of the Thunder Dragon on 27 March – 2 April 2025. Coming from a Catholic background, I had little exposure to Buddhism, but Kinley’s storytelling changed that. He introduced me to its teachings in such an engaging and thoughtful way that I left Bhutan with a new perspective on life. Kinley wasn’t just a guide—he was our motivator, comedian, and walking encyclopedia all rolled into one. His witty humor kept us laughing, even when our legs were questioning our life choices during the hike to Taktsang (Tiger’s Nest). But thanks to his patience and well-timed jokes, we made it to the top.

From February 20-26, I got to experience the beauty of this incredible country, and having the right people guiding me made all the difference. My guide, Tepe, and driver, Chubby, were fantastic. Tepe was full of knowledge and always had the best answers to my endless questions. He also adjusted the itinerary so I could see and experience more than I expected in just a few days. Chubby, on the other hand, was a master behind the wheel. Driving through Bhutan’s winding mountain roads, some right by steep cliffs should have made me nervous, but I felt completely safe with him the entire time.

7 day amazing private tour with Ed Sheeran concert! We booked a tour with DrukAsia/Soultrips to Bhutan from 19 to 25 Jan 2025 for Ed Shereen Concert tour package and was assigned tour guide, Mr Dorji Wangchuk and driver, Mr Kuenga. Mr Dorji was the best guide anyone could asks for! He is eloquent in English (also speaks multiple languages in Hindi and Nepali by the way), friendly, attentive and knowledgable. He always went the extra mile to ensure we are comfortable during the trip, requests for all the hotels to give us the rooms with the best views, bring us to explore the local food places and shrines, temples, gift shops, ensuring our safety and also enhancing our experiences. He shares a lot on the culture, life and historical places around Thimphu, Punakha and Paro, we learnt so much from him! He is so helpful and often offer to carry our bags or items for us so we can shop or hike with ease. He even brought us snacks and water during our hike up to Tiger Nest, always keeping a lookout for our safety and comfort. During the D-day for Ed Shereen's concert, he even went above and beyond to find ways to bring us quickly and safely into our ticket zone, and soughting help from his friend to secure us good view seats! This kind gesture was surely beyond his role as a tour guide and we are grateful and touched by this experience :)

Kuzu Zangpola! It has been two months since I first set out for this life changing and unforgettable trip to Bhutan. It still fills me with chills thinking about it. Flying into Paro International was an experience in itself, gliding through the mountains and the runway appearing right under the plane.
